Shamisen show & workshop for kids
Yuzu’s dream in New York is to contribute to cultural exchange by introducing Japanese culture as a Japanese musician. So it is her pleasure to take part in activities related to schools and children’s education!
Since she moved in New York in August 2022, she joined some school events in New York City.

In this 45 minutes class she introduces the history of shamisen, and then plays some Japanese folk music, and kids-friendly songs including the cover of some popular American songs.
She wishes children in New York get interested in cultural exchange by experiencing Japanese music, and it inspires them to learn about their own cultural roots.
